our family went camping over the 4th!  nash did great!  i'll post more about that next week.

day 320: this kid makes me sentimental all time.  It's gross really. :)

day 321: the pool comes at the price of exhaustion.  we'll take it.

i haven't posted nash's picture a day for awhile!

finally here it is again.

it's so fun to look back at each of these pictures and it reminds me of each and every day that i have had with nash.

  a specific memory of everyday that i have had with him.

  that is exactly why i wanted to do this project.

this week i was looking back at the beginning of this project and the beginning of nash's life. 

i specifically remember taking the first few shots of his first few days and telling myself to soak those first days in and remember every detail because before i could blink i knew that he would be toddling around and getting into everything. 

and here we are.

weird how that happens.

i need to start planning his first birthday party.

highlights of this week include quality time with family, picking strawberries from our backyard, lots of time outside, seeing nash stand by himself and not holding onto anything (this one also makes me cry a little),  and thinking about our upcoming trips (i can hardly stand the wait)

finally broke out these hot pink sweethearts.  it's warm and sunny and that is only made better with pink pants.  ;)

day 2 of mother's day weekend.  on our way to hang out with robert's family.

double rainbow!!  what does it mean?!?  if you haven't seen this video -  you should watch it.  it makes us laugh around here.

ever had one of those projects you have been putting off for MONTHS.  yes us too.  here we are finally breaking that terrible habit. we decided to redo our spindles in our house.  we have like 50 of them.  sanding them is the worst job ever and then we have to stain them.  can't wait until it is all finished.

hello!  

we had a good week over here.  it felt full and happy.  i got some things done that i have been wanting to get done and we were on the go a lot.  the weather also has been getting nicer.  it is so fun to see people migrating outside.  neighbors talking, kids running around, trampolines being used, balls being thrown around, ahhhhhh i love it all.  sunshine is good therapy.  i am looking forward to this weekend. robert's parents are back in town after being in california for months!  it will be nice to catch up and have them around again.  and i am looking forward to my first "official" mother's day.  weird.  but fun!

get spoiled if you're a mama or spoil yours!!

friday.  it's here again!

we are all the way through day 257 with the nash picture a day project!

that means my boy is growing. and too fast if you ask me.

day 250: i've got the sun in my hair.  the breeze in my face  and a ball to play with.  life is gooooood.

day 253: nash and levi spending the day together (they are cousins - ten weeks apart)

day 254:  this boy is a complete spaz when he is tired.  he frantically moves from one thing to the next because he is afraid if he slows down for one second he might show some sign of being sleepy.

day  255:  y'all this teething business sucks.  my mom caught me "teething" on a dog toy earlier - she figured she better make it up to me and give me a carrot.  i suppose i'll forgive her.  in fact she deserves the mom of the year award" - nash

2 sneaky little teeth have broke through these past two weeks which means i am sleep deprived.

 very sleep deprived.

hopefully this improves next week.

i'm crossing my fingers and my toes.

last weekend we were busy with robert's handball tournament.

he took first in the pro-am division.  which means he got to play with a pro and that pretty much made his whole year.  he did so good and we have fun watching him!

the rest of the week kind of creeped by and the weather was kind of cold.  but finally today it is going to be so nice!  tonight we are going out to celebrate my brother's birthday.

day 243: such a little guy

day 244: this grin gets me every time.

day 245: this weekend was full of handball.  today we got to watch dad take #1 in the pro-am!

day 246: today we have stayed in our pajamas all day.  had chicken nuggets and mac n cheese for lunch.  currently taking our second nap and cuddling.  and pretty much in denial that it's monday. :)

day 247: happy happy happy

day 248: my little 8 month old

day 249: bath time always happens in the afternoon over here these days.
