nash's nursery

i'm excited to finally post Nash's nursery.
i just adore his little space and it is one of my favorite rooms in the house.
we spend a lot of time in there and i think as he gets older he will love it as much as we do.
it is a room he can grow into.

i wanted bright colors and had been loving the whole wooded theme.
foxes - owls - trees - etc.
our last name also means "wooded" or "woodlands" so it seemed to fit well.

robert built the barn doors.  he did so good.
i couldn't have been happier with how they turned out.

I know I am partial but i love it!

    1. Thank you!! I def agree that the doors with the lights are the highlight of his room! My fiance actually built the doors for me and also wired the lights. Cut holes in the doors and fastened the lights on to the doors. Then he somehow wired the two lights together and connected it to one plug that I can plug into the wall. There is a little switch on the side of the door that I can turn to turn them on and off. That is the extent of my knowledge! I so enjoy your link party every wednesday! AND thanks so much for following!!

  5. Ahhhh! I'm in love! I did a girly version of the same theme for my little one, but I think you might have done it better! Did you make the garlands hanging on the barn doors? I've been looking for felt balls like those.

  9. I found this post on pinterest, and I am in love with your nursery! My husband and I are trying to recreate a barn door for our son's nursery, and I am curious where you found the lights? I haven't found any I am crazy about yet, and your lantern lights would fit our theme perfectly. Such a sweet nursery, you guys did a great job!
