spicy bean burritos

hello!  thought i would share one of our favorite things we have for dinner over here.
spicy bean burritos.  robert is always requesting these  and they are easy and so good!!
the original recipe was found  here.
(*this is one of my favorite food bloggers.  her recipes are fantastic and everything i have made from her blog is awesome!  check her out.)

you will need --
2 tsp. canola or vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. minced chipotle in adobo sauce (i usually don't use this)
1 can (4.5 oz.) of chopped green chile's (i add this instead)
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
dash of cayenne pepper
1/3 cup water, vegetable, or chicken broth
1 (15 oz.) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
6 tbsp. fresh salsa

for serving (all or some! whatever you like!) --
tortillas
shredded cheese
diced tomatoes
shredded romaine lettuce
onions
sour cream
avocado

directions --
to make the bean filling, heat the oil in a skillet over medium- high heat.  add the garlic, chili powder, chipotle, cumin, salt and cayenne; stir, cooking just until fragrant, 30-60 seconds.  add the beans, green chile's, and the water or broth to the pan.  bring the mixture to a boil.  reduce the heat to medium-low and allow the mixture to simmer for 10 minutes.  remove the skillet from the heat, stir in the salsa and mash the mixture with a spoon or fork (or whatever mashing device you like!)

spoon the bean filling into the tortilla and throw the toppings in, roll up, and enjoy!
